My Prayer

My Children

They have so much faith in me

that it makes me cry

Placing their trusting hearts in my hands

humbles me

Loving me for who I am makes my heart

overflow

Because of them I can swallow the shame

and smile through the pain

Do they know how much I love & need them

Their happiness is my happiness

Please GOD PLEASE

Don't let me fail them

My beautiful rays of warm light

on a cold and cloudy day
