There are Several ways to be a kid again:

One way is to start a political discussion.Soon you'll be starting out arguing,moving on to name calling and then just not even care what the subject is,you'll be fighting,shouting,hurting each other's feelings.

Just like kids.

Second, start a subject about religion.Well,in no time at all it'll be the game of who gets the last word.And who knows more than who.Then,there's the name calling,much more suttle than in politics.Why,just like kids,you'll be the one to want to be right and get the last word,whatever it takes can and will be done.

Once again,feelings will be hurt,there will all sorts of wounds.Isn't it great to be a kid again!

Third,you can start a fun subject.Just for fun,maybe a game,a joke.You can be the class clown,you can find youself laughing outloud.

Isn't it great to be a kid again?

I never liked the fighting, name calling or hurting others when a child, so I am certainly not going to start now. But, I believe we can disagree with a person, without tearing that person apart. I'll never by a "yes man" as the saying goes, but I will always be caring and thoughtful and express my honest opinions. I am told by others all the time that I have kept a childlike love of life. I believe it has a lot to do with forgiving, learning, moving on without regrets, loving unconditionally all people, laughter and striving to be the best I can every day. I never want to lose the little girl inside me.

A child, uh? Up untill a few short years ago everyone called me Michael T the Mechanic. I got "Tagged" as I refer to the Experience and EVERYONE in my World saw the immediate change in me and someone started calling me Mikey!! And I'm haveing a Blast! most times. I was going to remove the !! from the end of my name , my friends so no! don't because thats you! Mikey!! Always being playful, thoughtful and careing. I LOVE being a Child in Gods World.!

A year ago when I was in Scotland, I took an afternoon walk...it was not raining.

However, it started to rain while I was out. I decided nothing I had on would be hurt by rain, so I continued walking in the rain. Yes, I got soaked, my hair was wet, even my socks got wet. The temperature was mild and I felt like a kid again, walking in the rain, and not letting it bother me.

It took awhile for my clothes and shoes to dry out, but it was worth it. I still remember how good it felt to do it.

Yes I totally agree with you MasterfulTapestry.

I feel, though, that those who were into name calling as kids and as adults are that way because they are seeking attention. It is sad that their lives lacked that primal need at one point in their lives and they are still seeking it.

To be a child again is going to the beach to play in the water and waves, to play frisbee and to fly a kite. To just let ourselves be like we have no worries in the world, that is to be child-like.

I have put this website out on many threads as I will put it on this thread as well because during their inner engineering they not only talk about being child-like but they take you back to that stage of being a child. We went and played frisbee, dodge ball, capture the flag and a few more games that brought back that child-like feeling. I truly encourage everyone to take that course, it was the best thing I ever did for myself.
