My grandaughter is very creative.She loves to write,draw and is always coming up with ideas for making things.We were talking about this and she brought up a special memory.
It will be 6yrs ago this Oct that my mom died.My older sister came over Christmas eve.She had made her gift for me.It was an ornament,a styrofoam ball in the middle,she had taken pieces from my mom's fav clothes.On the bottom of the ornament was the cross to my mom's rosary,when my sister gave it to me,I just broke down and cried.
Taylor,my grandaughter,told me that.She described the ornament,knew what it was made from,and knew how much I cried.And why.She was not even 3 when that happened.I said she should write these things down,so she remembers them when she is older.There are alot of things she remembers from even a younger age.
I am so glad this is such a positive memory for her.
