Lake Logan is in Canton,NC close to where I live.The diocese of western north Carolina Episcopal church purchased over 300 acres.My youngest daughter had her last year of camp there,where Camp Henry was moved to.
I love it up there.There are beautiful cabins for retreats.
These are photos from there I found that I wanted to share.There's also an area owned by the boyscouts.

Some wonderful pics. This is the time of year that I love best - the colors always amaze me. We never really get the fall colors in Australia so I'll continue to appreciate them for as long as I can.
Each day as I drive to work I notice more colors cropping up. Unfortunately in my street only one tree has turned bright orange/red so far. Normally the trees on one side of the road produce brilliant color & those on the other side don't but so far its been disappointing. Maybe its early days yet.

It is still a little early.But the days go by so fast.My grandkids have been getting off the bus here this past week.
They were funny today,getting a pile of leaves going to jump in.Our trees in the front yard are huge and there are alot of leaves on the ground already.

We've been seeing quite a few wild turkey.It's sad tho,you see them in smaller groups now.
But they are so cool.I love the mtns
