When I went to school,I learned alot about my parents generation.WWII,the Great Depression.
When my kids went to school, and my grandkids, nothing of my generation. They really do not know much about it.
I tell my kids, watch the history channel, there are so many good programs on there that can at least give them a sense of what was going on when I was growing up.Vietnam, civil rights,so much conflict.
Peace movement.I had a brother in Vietnam, yet I can understand my cousin, who's dad had a career in the air force(up until then) when my cousin became a conscious objector.
I have to ponder the answer to my own question as to what I'd like my generation to be remembered for.I do know,I'd like them to be known of.
