John was struck down on the road that led you back for more
Long and winding road led to our door
You spoke out for peace, shouting, singing your song
You were before your time,we listen
to music you left behind
Make us think,fill our mind
For peace,shot on a street of NY city

I wonder what music the world was robbed of when he was taken. So many times he was misunderstood, or was misrepresented by the media.
Outspoken, but he cared about the human race. I get his sense of humor that often got him into trouble, as mine does in my own life.
He had so much left to give. He had taken the time to spend raising his younger son, knowing the mistakes he made with his older son.
Miss you John. Expect to see and hear more from you on the other side!
