I am also a fan of the "Outlander" series. No one does research like (or plotting!) like Diana.

I would also recommend "Time and Again" by Jack Finney and "Time Out of Mind" by John Maxim. Though very different in approach, both of these books give an intriguing look at life in late 1800's New York City. Finney used time travel as a theme often, in short stories as well as novels. "Marion's Wall", while not strictly a time travel story, is very good. Sadly "From Time to Time", the long-awaited sequel to "Time and Again", published shortly before Mr. Finney's death, does not live up to the original. It is still, however, certainly worth your "time", and Titanic enthusiasts will definitely be interested.

I have to agree with you..."Outlander" is my favorite book of all time! I keep hoping to meet Jamie in real life...sigh.

Marge Pearcy's "Woman On The Edge Of Time" is a must-read.
