My husband graduated from EST. He's a California boy. His mom did too! Sorry I can't talk much about it. I have been to a couple of seminars but nothing like this.

Well, didn't they run it, in those days, like you couldn't get comfortable or go to the bathroom? So you could see what kind of reaction you'd have? I heard they changed that later.

How did you find out about Est?

There is a lot of misconception about that. If one wanted to go use the bathroom, all one had to do was get up and go. It wasn't about going to the bathroom; it was about how committed one was to whatever was happening at that time. It was about planning in advance and making the training work for you. It was about integrity, ethics, life. I never had to go to the bathroom, but I did doze off more than I'd like to admit which made me realize how much I dozed off in my life in general. It was an amazing experience.
