WEEDS.
I just finished watching "Weeds" (Season 2) but you have to get Disc 1 & Disc 2 to see the whole season. It's a show about a young suburban California widow who starts to deal Marijuana from her trendy upper class neighborhood. It's got Kevin Nealon in it and a few other good actors. It's actually a funny show, and risquee in it's subject matter. I highly recommend it.
(In the news, Mendocino County in California has passed a law allowing persons to posses 25 Cannabis plants or less without fear of arrest or retribution - interesting!)
U TURN.
Sean Penn, Billy Bob Thornton, J LO and other star in this thriller set in the desert. It's an artsy and deep film with a bizarre ending that will make you laugh. It's a little twisted but it's the 3rd time I've seen it and I highly recommend it.
WILD HOGS.
This is a very entertaining film with John Travolta, Ray Liotta, Tim Allen and other great actors. It's about a group of 50'ish professional men who are trying to live their lives vicariously through their motorcycles. They encounter a renegade motorcycle gang who tell them to hang up their act and get back to their boring suburban lives. What happens is slapstick and exciting. I highly recommend it.
