Concert DVD collecting

I have begun collecting DVDs of band's concerts. I have found some to be outstanding and some that shouldn't have been released. I do like

Pink Floyd-Pulse,

Motley Crue-Carnival of Sins

Peter Gabriel-Secret World

Nickelback- Live at Home

Cowboy Junkies-Open Road

David Gilmour-Royal Albert Hall show

Roger Waters-

Norah Jones- Live in New Orleans

Metallica- S&M

Allman Bros.- Peakin' at the Beakin (don't remember if that's the exact name)

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones-

Bruce Hornsby-

Grateful Dead-Truckin' off to Buffalo (is that the name?)

Anyways...those are some off the top of my head that I have really enjoyed out of the 80 or so that I currently own.

I'm wondering if anyone else has any recommendations for other great concert DVDs. I consider a great one, not just the band who does the show, but the sound quality of the movie and the camera work. Also, some movie's bonus features section can turn a good movie into a great one in my mind if it is done well.

So I'd be interested to hear what everyone else's experiences have been with this genre of flick.

No I don't yet own any from Kiss. I have checked out the reviews of a couple and there is one that I might get next, which is supposed to be of good sound and camera work quality.

I don't collect the concert dvd's just because I like the band, if there are ones that are exceptionally well put together and with great sound quality, I'll check them out. I used to be a Kiss fan for awhile "back in the day" but haven't really listened to much of them lately.

The sight and sound experience are great with my new 46 inch flat screen and a stereo system that pumps out from 28 speakers in 10 cabinets!! My facebook and myspace pages have photos of that system.

The first Eagles concert on DVD is excellent. Hotel California theme. The guys are in their prime and harmonies couldnt be better.

I also like the Springsteen Folk sessions for the casual atmosphere and unusual sounds.

I saw one of the Eagles discs and like it but didn't end up purchasing it. I don't think I've seen any of The Boss' discs, will have to check it out. Thanks powerplant.

The Live Aid set is very good...the Who,Queen,CSN,McCartney..etc.great sound and the concert for George Harrison,with Clapton and maybe the last concert with Billy Preston,along with Georges son,Paul and Ringo,Jeff Lynn etc...very good also

I almost got the Live 8 disc set just for the Pink Floyd reunion set. Do you collect them also Ken? I recently upgraded to a 46 inch flatscreen and now when I watch them it's like I am right in the front row (without the drunk guy yelling in my ear...who is that guy and why does he always get tickets right next to me at every show I go to? lol).

Thanks for the tips on Harrison's show. I have seen parts of it but not the whole thing yet. Gave it to a friend for his birthday and he still hasn't let me borrow it yet...the nerve...lol

thanks for reminding me...that's now on my Amazon wishlist. I have a bunch of Al Stewart on DVD but none of it's commercially available. Anybody wants copies, I can burn.
