Favorite romantic comedies

I've not always been a big fan of this movie genre. But there have been some pretty good ones recently. I'm thinking in particular of "Definitely Maybe" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall".

What are your favorite rom coms?

Also, are there actors you particularly like in romantic comedies? I can't stand "When Harry Met Sally" but otherwise like Meg Ryan movies, for instance "Sleepless in Seattle". Also Drew Barrymore, as in "50 First Dates", "Music and Lyrics".

My favorite romantic comedy by far is "Clueless," with Alicia Silverstone. However, I don't think most people would dub it a romantic comedy. It's very much a parody of Valley Girls in southern California. But along the way, there is some charming and touching romance.

Not a syruppy or corny movie. Very witty, very different from run-of-the-mill American comedies.

Never thought of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" as a romCom. But it's a great movie. And certainly is funny, and I suppose has some romance.

I love romantic comedies, and these days most romantic movies are made to be funny to some degree...

My favorite Meg Ryan movie is: You've got Mail. I also thoroughly enjoyed Kate and Leopold, which is about a little time travelling with Hugh Jackman. While You Were Sleeping is a great romance, and was the first of Sandra Bullock's movies, with Bill Pullman. I've enjoyed most of her movies.

I love most of Hugh Grant's movies, including 4 Weddings and a Funeral.

I agree with Firefox and RBIrving ... Loved You've got Mail, While You Were Sleeping and Breakfast at Tiffany's. Have to add Sleepless in Seattle. But ... my current favorite to watch over (and over and over) is Love, Actually. Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman and Bill Nighy ... what's not to love? Truly, it is clever, very funny and deeply touching .. I love it, actually.
