I'm woefully ignorant about this film, yet it is on my Netflix list, so I must have heard about it somewhere.

I remember that it was done by the director/writer that did "Hedwig And The Angry Inch" (yay!) and it's supposed to have pretty graphic sex scenes in it (double yay!).

Yes, it's worth seeing. There is plenty of graphic sex but, to me, it's more about people searching for meaningfulness and connection, than about scoring.

I was invited to a screening of this film --about 2 years ago-- there was discussion with the director after the viewing. Several people walked out during the showing of the film. If it wouldn't have been rude, I would have done the same.

If it was about the search for "meaning," it was a tacked idea that didn't say very much about connection.
