ARE YOU HOT???
“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor ho: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Rev. 3:15-16
The Lord says, ‘stop being lukewarm; halfhearted; non-committed and sometimey. Choose this day whom you will serve. The Lord is looking for soldiers who are on fire; hot for Christ; ready to serve; ready to fight and ready to stand. The body of Christ is in need of sold out, converted instruments to share the Gospel; reach the lost; love those who are hurting, and set the bound free! Jesus says we are the light of the world. Our light must be bright in order to put out darkness. Jesus says we are the salt of the earth. But He says if you lose you saltiness you’re no good. And here He says, ‘If you’re lukewarm, I’ll spit you out of My mouth.’ Are you hot?
There are enough lukewarm , dim lit, saltless, Christians! We need passion in the Body…Passion to change the world, by changing lives, by living the Word and speaking the Truth. We need passion to stand firm; to be committed; to serve the Lord and tell His story. We need to get hot; we need to sizzle with excitement; boil over with boldness; and burn with zeal. We should look for opportunities to share the Gospel; seek chances to represent Christ and embrace occasions to love the unlovable.
We need to care about the work of Christ on the cross, and what it means. It means salvation for all who believe. It means deliverance for all who are bound; it means freedom for those held captive. We need to get on fire for God. Tell every one that Jesus is Lord; salvation is free and healing is available. Are you hot???
The Lord wants us to be hot or cold; either for Him or against Him; either serving God or serving the enemy; either surrendered or sinning; either sold out or a sell out. Be one or the other, but don’t hang in the middle. Pick a side; select your path and choose your destiny.
Are you on fire; fired up; enthusiastic; fervent; passionate, zealous and burning with a desire to serve God, represent Christ and fight for the lives of others.
Are you going to get spit out or sent out?
