At the end of a hectic day of working, playing with the kids, cooking, cleaning, and going to karate I often find it difficult to 'turn off'. More and more frequently I am having problems getting to sleep at night, or staying asleep. I don't want to medicate if it can be avoided, so a friend of mine recommended meditation. But I have NO idea how to do that. I've TRIED numerous times to sit quietly and clear my brain. But if I'm sitting quietly all I do is think about the things I should be doing . . .
Any suggestions?
