I joined the group... find it very interesting. To demonstrate that I have some manners, I would like to introduce myself. Born in Minnesota, raised in Iowa, eldest of three brothers. Join the Marine Corps immediately after graduation from high school. Spent the next 3 1/2 years in the infantry in Vietnam. Return to Iowa; began my education at the University of Iowa, while attending ,work as a deputy sheriff. Ended up back in the military for the next nine years. Medically retired as a E-7. Live approximately 18 years in Europe. I travel the Far East and most of the European continent. After leaving the military, went to work for the Department of Army in two career fields. One in resource management field,(management analysis and evaluation); the other in the logistical field, and concluding as director of logistics. Return to Washington state and work for the FAA. I'm now retired devoting most of my time to research in the leadership of organizations. While in resource management field and continuing into my logistical field I spent a number of years coaching and teaching leadership skills to manager in the workplace. I also divide my time with reseach on enhancing the nursing home industry. Why the nursing home, I lived in one for 4 years. This was not due to my age but to a debilitating condition caused by the war. I'm now residing in my home in Tacoma, Washington. I also know a little about PTSD, and willing to share my findings in this arena. I do enjoy providing what knowledge I have in the management field to other folks that would like information in this area. I have a certificate from the University of Washington in the executive career field. In this study I earned more about organizational management, executing small businesses and how to set up a business. By now you know more about me than you probably wanted to. Apologize for rambling on, ...so please introduce yourself; I have a good ear and enjoyed listening more than speaking.
Warm regards to all and thank you for allowing me to participate in this group.

I'm a great deal smaller now then pictured. Lost about 70 pounds.
