The irony would be is that if I had Jesus wait while cleaning up the porn, probably the first question He'd ask is where did I hide it, and I kept Him waiting for THAT?

Yes I bet he would ask you !I would invite him to come right in as he knows he dwells in my home, his images, books, rosaries and the Nativity set which has been there in display for 7 years now and which will never be taken off untill I pass on..And the Images of Mother Mary.

If Jesus came to visit me and I answered the door and saw him..I suspect my knees would buckle ..as something very special was about to happen !

I don't have anything in my house I would want to hurry and hide if Jesus were to come a knocking. (Unless clutter counts! I'd be embarassed by that.)

That pretty much sums it up for me, too, Froggy.... I suspect this would not be a casual visit.

But remember, no one knows the day or the hour of His coming; only that He will 'come as a thief in the night...', so any porn (in my house: NONE - not even Stuff magazine) would be cleaning up for an unexpected visitor...

I dont think clutter counts because he knows we have children and grandchildren who do the mess and we clean after them. Jesus is among us, one day I went to work at this thrift shop, as a volunteer and while there some ladies were all excited about the stranger, who went to ask for clean clothes to wear.Some lady told him he could take a shower too, so they said he went into the shower room, and one lady was waiting for him to come out which of course he never did,his old clothes were all folded and the shower stall was very clean. They kept wondering how he could have gone out since no one saw him leave.They describe him and I said ladies, ladies, who do you think it was ? They couldnt figure it out I said it was Jesus Christ.I said I have seen him ,,, but then that's another story...
