July 22, 2009, south of Shanghai.. the last solar eclipse that i viewed was in Hawaii 1991 and it was spectacular. the one coming up in China is expected to last about six minutes. i've never been to China and always wanted to go. i could use any travel tips from seasoned travellers on how to get there and where to stay. or would it be best to go on a tour since i'm a first-timer?
