Hi Geoff! My daughter and I do give back to our horse community. We are members of Cowgirl Spirit Rescue Drill Team. We rescue abused and unwanted horses, rehab them back to health, then use natural horsemanship methods to make them wonderful, stable mounts then make them availible for adption to approved homes. We get the word out that unwanted horses make just as good companions and riding horses by selecting the best riders and horses and perform as a drill team at competitions and fairs. My daughter in the past has been in charge of all the tack and I've been their main hauler of the horses. It's a wonderful organization and I've loved being a part of it.

I'm new to this group and am thrilled to have found you.

I think that giving back is nearly as much fun as the riding itself. I volunteer to teach for ponyclub as well as have coached eventing teams for them at Championships. It's so rewarding to see the joy on their face when they learn something new or accomplish something amazing. I also do a lot of volunteer work at local horse events which can be a great deal of fun as it is a really wonderful community of people!
