I get mine from the events going on around me & how my "warped " mind perceives them!
How about you?

I don't have anything in particular thing that I most of my inspiration from. I kind of draw it from any number of places and things. I have been inspired by driftwood, a baby girl blowing bubbles, a puppet show, rocks, etc. I guess I go by the old adage,"Inspiration is where you find it."
I get mine from watching people, their expressions and how they change as they move. I love people.
cheers,

Inspiration is only 1%, work is 99%. By "happenstance" is where I find that 1%.
I've recently been reintroduced to art noir. So I put on Hitchcock, Thriller and other old black and white shows and I really get in the mood to create. Other ways I can get inspired are by putting on some Led Zepplin and just get to work!
Here in Chicago, I get much needed inspiration by visiting the Art Institute when I'm creatively dry. Also, I love watching "Sunday Morning" on CBS...that show is terrific at supporting the arts.
