Here's the deal with the art. My daughter (Cherish) lives in Sankt Polten, Austria and travels Europe constantly. I received a post card once with a picture of a Rodin sculpture that I was sure she picked out for me because of my fascination with history. I went about my usual OCD rant & roll to learn as much as I could concerning the history of this statue. I found it fascinating and was proud to actually know something about it when Cherish visited me later that year.
Much to my surprise she knew nothing!!! She had grabbed the damn thing randomly when she was in such a hurry she couldn't even pick out a meaningful card for her dad. LOL
She did appreciate my new found love for all things Rodin (she minored in art history in Vienna) and later visited Calais again to catch what she had missed.
Sometimes we learn good stuff by accident or careless card selection.
