Not once, but twice in the last week, I've seen women ( not teenagers) shopping in their Pj's. What gives? The first time, a mature woman, (30's) walking in the local small Chi~chi grocery store, strolling the aisles in a white waltz length nightgown with a vertical flower design. Maybe she thinks it's a dress? She is wearing it with sandals, it's still warmish. She has a necklace on..I don't know. Last night, I'm in the drugstore. A woman (40's) comes in behind me. She is wearing short flowered pj shorts with a non matching tie dye type T shirt, no bra (obviously) and boots. Oh wow! The baby must be sick or out of diapers...NOPE. She is just strolling around, shopping. Reading the magazines, checking out the hair dye. It was weird. The kids have been wearing PJ pants out in the street here for a year or two...but not MOM's and Grammas! I blame it on the kids..they look terrible, maybe these more mature women think they can do it , too? Sweat pants are a big step up from what they were wearing...and I won't wear them in the street. Have you observed this trend, and will you try the look? ( outside, in the STREET?)
