She sounded terrible.As I've said,she has ms and parkinsons.Her left leg is the one that she has the problem with.She loses feeling and will just fall.
She gets disability,but it took 3yrs to get it.She lost her insurance,finally got medicade about 3 months before her disability came thru.Well,then she lost her medicade.
She needs surgery,but now cannot get it.She has no coverage at all and won't until May of next year.Now,she's got pain all over so bad.And she can't use her walker,as she has to drag her leg in order to get around.
Gotta love this country.We know how to take care of our people,don't we.Oh,and before any rude comments,I don't want to hear any.She worked for over 30yrs in the health field.A nurse and continued her education,her last position as director of a local hospice.
It was heartbreaking to hear her on the phone.Suffering because she can't get done what needs to be done.There will be too much damage by May,she's was supposed to have physical therapy even b4 surgery.
