I just talked to my sister.My oldest brother(he doesn't talk to me) has a stepson the same age as my oldest,30.They had gone to the store today,had been making french fries,forgot to shut off the fryer and the house burned down.
They have 2 kids,10 and 7. They lost everything.But for the kids right now,the biggest loss is their 2 dogs.They live in Fla,so I've never seen the dogs.They were hoping somehow the dogs got out,but they didn't.
They are well insured and are staying in a motel.But they've lost everything.The kids just keep crying for the dogs.
They've worked so hard for what they had.I can't imagine how bad they feel.Thank God all of them are ok.But you know,I can't imagine how to comfort your kids when you've lost everything.
