I'm a little behind here, but looks like everyone else is also. My husband and I set aside some part of Christmas Day or evening for ourselves alone to celebrate our anniversary of his proposing to me. That was 25 yrs ago this year. Otherwise, we go to one or both of the kids' homes or have them at ours, whatever we are instructed to do. We try to fit in with their schedules. They all get stressed trying to make all of their different celebrations, so we don't want to add to that stress by making demands.
