It is very important that you do Part 1 first. But of course you will only be cheating yourself if you don't.
The 5 most common traits that you came up with from your lists in part 1 are traits that describe you.
1. Pick 2 traits that are most important to you.
2. List a couple of ways that you express those qualities with others such as: to serve, or to inspire.
3. Write a simple statement in the present tense that describes what you would be doing if the world was perfect, such as: supporting others, or expressing your talents.
4. Now put these together in a Purpose statement:
Example:
My purpose is to use my leadership and authenticity to inspire and empower others to creat whole health in their lives.
You will need to try writing this a number of times to get it right. Notice how you feel when you write it and that will tell you if it right for you.
From this statement, you can compare everything you are doing in your life to your purpose, so you can see if what you are doing is fulfilling your purpose or moving you in that direction.
