The artists who were on the radio in our youthful days are now better than before. Something like wine getting better with age, that kind of thing.

Mark Knopfler. Seals and Crofts. If you listen to some of their new songs, you can hear much more depth and soul. John Prine... Oh yeah! Allison Krause and Robert Plant's album. WONDERFUL.

Plus their songs are no longer so much about gettin' laid, or the passions of youth.

What of the old sourdoughs are you familiar with now? Give me some hints and ideas so I can improve my ipod lineup.
