The good news for mystery fans is that these days it's possible to order any mystery still in print on amazon.com. That means if you read one in a series and like it, you can easily find the rest of them. I believe in supporting you local bookstores but they won't necessarily carry things publshed a while ago.

Another advantage of amazon is their "if you liked that, you might like this" feature. I've discovered some good books that way.
