Any of you folks remember XERB and Wolfman Jack? Anyone have access to any studio recordings of this youth/folk hero?
...

I remember listening to him but not sure what station it was. I thought he was great in "American Graffiti."
I also remember Jerry Blavit and Joe Niagra on Phila. stations. and later, in my teens/20's, Michael Tearson, Anita Gevitsen, etc from WMMR & WYSP. but WJ was easily the most distinctive voice on radio.

Like Talldwarf and Just A Guy, I remember da Wolfman mostly from American Graffiti and network television. Didn't he also have a syndicated radio show? In Detroit, we had Lee Alan on WXYZ and Robin Seymour on WKNR. There were also "The Big 8 Jocks" on CKLW AM, and 50,000 watt station out of Windsor, Ontario. One of my favorites from that station was Tom Shannon who also did some time at WKBW in Buffalo.
