I've been on SSI for 10 years now, due to medication resistant depression/migraines... I'm now trying to get my life together, I figure the meds don't work, so I just have to push through and get on with my life... what does one say to a prospective employer to counter 10 years of inactivity... I have no real skills, the only "real" job I've ever had being my time in the Army, but I am a quick learner, and a hard worker... I'm not really what you could call outgoing either, prefering to deal with people in very small groups...
any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
