Why don't you write different versions of your profile, or look up job descriptions on line which describe things that you would be doing as a travel companion and tailor your advertisement to what you want it to reflect about you. You may share your drafts with me, for comments if you wish.

Travel is marvellous so that is a creative idea to be able to travel and earn a living as well. Great.

There is a real need for environmental health and safety specialists in the corporate world and your nursing [I'm assuming you are an RN], that would really help, the other stuff you can learn. It pays in the range of $70-$80,000 annually. Some OSHA paperwork, but nothing you can't handle.

I also have a friend who was a emergency room and operating room nursing specialist. Her back and legs gave out at 55, she is now a C.L.N.C, certified legal nurse consultant. Her hours are excellent, no on-call, rotating shifts, no lifting, and the pay is twice what she made as a 40 year experienced nurse. The doctors are afraid of her now, and they treat he really well. I'd look into that, just in case it fits you.

Good afternoon Sheila, Are you licensed as a CNA or HHA? I was just wondering as that is a job that would interest me. I have to do a little research, but about a year ago in the St. Petersburg Times/Florida, there was a company that had just started talking about this very subject. Because of the high prices of surgery's in the US, people are opting to have them done outside the country and looking for 'companions' to help them out. I will keep searching to see if I can find the name of the company.
