I am almost 50 now. I have "cared for" many very prestigious individuals in my community over the last three decades. My phone rings all of the time with work offers, I am never out of work unless I want to take time off (I do private duty medical and non medical care, long term, in private homes) I have tons of glowing local references. I make decent money even though I am not a registered nurse. Back in the days when I took my training there was such a thing as a "home nurse" I took that course and have never been out of work and have rarely had to work for agencies. I work for myself by referral of local people via word of mouth.
What I would like to do now is offer to travel with people (occasionally, between regular assignments) that need medical or non medical assistance while on a vacation. I would love to see more of the world but I do not have the cash to travel as much as I would like. I care for both gentlemen and ladies. I enjoy pets and children as well. I don't want to advertise as a "travel companion" because it sort of sounds like a "call girl" service. I cannot advertise as a "travel nurse" because I am not a nurse. Any ideas of how to market my services and still sound professional?
