If you can stand constant rejection, you might want to consider telemarketing for a local firm. You have to be able to shake of rejection and have a good telephone voice.

Some places will give you a canned speech to give. They never did work for me. I would rather be given an example and the guidelines and let me develop the script that fits my personality.

You can make a lot of money and set your own hours.

Your post seems very broad and open to so many different opportunities. As a mom who now works from home, I was AMAZED at the number of opportunities out there. I had been in the corporate world and hadn't had exposure to work from home businesses (because all I did was WORK! LOL). I've chosen a business idea that works well with my personality and desire to replace my corporate income. Many businesses are legitimate but there are a ton of scams too! It may be helpful for you to hone in on your wishes and back into an opportunity that fits that.

I have no idea what your personal needs are but I have a few thoughts you might find helpful. In the part of the world I live in, work at home is becomming more common. I work from home some and have had an office in my home on occassion. I am in compliance. My suggestion to you is not to limit yourself to what is listed as work at home options from the internet. Check out what your local job center and/or employment agencies know about work at home options in your area. For example, medical clinics, and hospitals will train termenology for a good data entry from home staff. Also some large companies that are now offering debit card service to persons receiving public assistance hire persons to do data entry from home. In property management, companies regularly hire individuals to review compliance with program regulations both Federal and Sate. Don't limit yourself to just online opportunities. When you figure out what kind of work you would like to do....then you have to sell yourself. I would also encourage you to do two things....

1) Think broadly about the kind of work you can do that does not require a specfic location, just a connection of some kind. Even if it is something you know nothing about at the moment, you can make it work, if it works for you.

2) Be careful what you wish for, you might get it. Working from home is not for everyone. I am not all that fond of it simply because I am a social butterfly and I prefer to have people to be social with. ;^)
