When you hit the 50's, the ball game changes and there is little warning or place to go. For myself it was right out the door at 61 I had to learn all the ins and outs of posting resumes, having multiple resumes on file, and constantly working to cover any flaws in your background and experience.

The face to face interview is almost the very last thing before you get an offer, I personally hate it, I hate the process and spending so much time applying for jobs, endlessly filling out surveys and forms with everything which s already covered in the resume and cover letters, It's all very frustrating and I''m going to check out the networking links.

My strong personal, communication and persuasion skills are lost using the job boards and job fairs.

Do you think people don't read more than one discussion? There are very big discrepancies between the story you are telling here and the one you are telling in another group this evening and stories I've read by you on other days. And I think the operative word here is "story". Who are you really?
