Why do some women tolerate with dealing with men that isn't good for them?

Is it the fear of being alone? Or is it the love or self worth that some women have within therm selves? I was talking to my male friend and he is a DOG," I mean "He will play on a woman's weakness if she allows it,

"and he found one." He tells me all of the other women that he has slept with sence he's been with her she caught him several times,and she stills puts up with it, also he told me he has an STD.and can't get rid of it , she is still there, "haven't left yet", he tried to break it off with her Then she asked him will he marry her? This man is still messing around with his ex wife and still messing with his ex girl friend also , and he brags about it. They have been to gether for three years, but she doesnt see the light. Will she ever will?

i can tell you why i stayed with my abusive x as long as i did.

i was afraid to go out on my own with a young child.

i loved him.

i hoped he would change.

he didnt. i dont love him anymore. and i am doing just fine, tho am not without struggles and hardships, out on my own for 10 years now.

I think it's codependency in way for some women. They do it unconsciously. With me i learn my lesson long time ago, but now im still learning about my self and what kind of men i attract.

Men have a way of sniffing women out like her very easely, it really dosent take that much training or thought to it, its like they can appeal to your emontions and go from their, If you have LOW SELF-ESTEEM to begain with, then the rest is a piece of cake for him he can do to you whatever he pleases. Until the women has had enough than the games contuines. Do these people believe in condoms? phew.

RoseFinch. The reasons you enumerate are the reasons I MARRIED my second husband, even though I saw signs of abusive behavior. Fortunately, we were only married about a year. Then, I pulled on my big-girl panties and realized I COULD support myself and my daughter and survive without a man!

Cassy. I agree. These men seek out women who are desperate, needy or have low self esteems. Thassan's friend's friend obviously fits in all THREE categories! I have met others like her.

Having been there and done that, I know that these guys are usually very charismatic. They have their good qualities, and can turn the charm off and on like a light switch. The outside world sees a very likable guy, often smart and productive, (they make good managers)and never sees the dark heart that waits within. It is a biological fact that abusive men are born with an extra "Y" chromosome in their DNA. The ones who don't learn to channel their aggressive behavior productively, end up in prison!

May have veered off the subject a little.

Bottom line is: The reason Thassan's friend is doing what he is doing is because women are letting him get away with it :-<

Exactly. This man is very intelligent and is very charismatic, and a business owner, "I mean "it just discussed me to know that this woman is so, desperate that....

She have to know what he's doing. Your right, he's getting away with it, only if she allows it.
