Who said you cant you can have fun?...Just because your not compatible as life long mates who it to say you cant have fun together anyways..Your both adults and consenting. So if/when circumstances change maybe the FWB thing will too but until then have fun..I do agree its easier for us guys, not sure why though...

People do have other choices than celebate or mated for life. One of the great things about life today is you can forge any sort of relationship you want to have.

A friend and lover with whom you don't live is, for me, an ideal relationship. You have to see if it is for you.

THATS WHY ISADORA IS A STAFF MEMBER! She's got such good advice! I agree, its ideal. Its what I've been looking for for months now without success. I think guys are just less emotional so its easier for us to do but I believe a woman can feel that way too, it just might be a bit harder.

I agree with Richard. Women think too much instead of just enjoying the connection. It's tough especially when you'd like to meet someone special but can't resist "Mr. right now" to satisfy a "craving". Then the thinking begins; does he respect me, is he using me...... Instant gratification vs. long term goals has always been a struggle for this lady anyway.

A younger friend of mine had this arrangement a few years ago. It was working well for both of them she thought, until she found out he had more then 1 friend with fringe benefits. She got really upset and broke off all relationships with him. I think she had deeper feelings for him, felt betrayed, and wasn't admitting it. She said she was worried about STD's.

I think this is my hesitation in a nutshell. Or, what if he meets Ms Right while he's with me? One or the other is bound to get hurt. And the thinking - Oh Boy! My mind goes everywhere. Maybe it's just not worth it.
