I hear you...lately I have been in the most upbeat of moods. Maybe its because I have a job that brings me out amongst people now lolol. I find I am happier than I have been in a long time....not even lonely anymore. I guess we all go thru periods of time where we are down and dont believe in love ever after. I have to admit that I still believe in love ever after....but I know that for me..its likely not to happen....and thats ok. For today anyway lol

If you'd rather spend time with your pet than date, you're free to make that decision. But here you are posting on The Challenges of Being Single. So I infer that you ARE interested in dating, but have faced frustrations in that arena. You're not alone. Dating is difficult. So is having a relationship. So are most things in life. If you don't want to date, don't. But if you do, then I suggest that you bear in mind that things are tough all over, not just for people in the dating scene.
