I recently met a pretty lady on the internet that lived maybe one and half hours from me. We emailed back and forth several times and she came on as she was really interested in me and I knew I was in her. we chatted several times and she was very outgoing. Then we exchanged phone numbers and we talked on the phone 2 times and I still though she really had an interest in me. She worked in a job that had different days off. On the third time we talked on the phone I told her that on her next day off I would like to drive to her city and meet her at a place of her choosing-- then the crazy questions stared coming that I could not figure where they were coming from. It was like I threw ice water on her. So then she said I just want to be your best friend no dates. Oh I forgot to tell that she said she had not dated.Then a couple of days later i saw she was on chat so i joined in and we talked a while and she told me that she was afraid that I could support her if she got sick. I told her well I am 72 years old and have not ever been unable to support my wife. Then I asked her if the problem was she was afraid to date. Her answer was yes I am afraid I will make a bad choice. Why Be looking?
