Besides the typical bar scene, where are good places to find that "perfect" man?!
Anybody have any creative out-of-the-box/bar stories? I'm really resisting typical stuff. Besides, I want a very a-typical guy. Someone with more depth than a cheesy pick-up line at the free Female Happy Hours.
Suggestions? Stories? Successes?

There is no perfect man so such a search is futile. What would your atypical man do? Act? Try improv classes or little theater groups. Be wealthy? Try investment classes and clubs. Be specific in what you want and go there. Bars are not a great source of anything but drinkers.

Okay, I was being a bit fecitious about the word 'perfect'. Cause mostly - I'm certainly far from perfect myself.

I'm at a loss too. I think it would be interesting if some people who have significant others told their story about where they met. That would give some helpful ideas.

I'm at a bit of a loss myself. I can tell you one thing to beware of...getting fixed up by your friends. If you don't like the date you risk insulting your friends as well.
