You never forget your first love, or so they say. Do you remember the first book that started you on the road to your love affair with books?
For me it was the Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas and the series that consequently followed. I checked out the book from my Junior High library and it was an old lithographed edition with the most beautiful imagery. The scent still lingers in my mind and texture of the pages on my fingertips is ingrained in my memory; old, musty with jagged edged pages. Beautiful.
