I have "pissin in the wind" playing in my head-Jerry Jeff Walker. Maybe from reading so many old days discussions. I strive to stay focused on the here and now, but damn! we had so much fun...'68-73 were my highlight years. I've also had John Prine tuning through my brain. I haven't met anybody in the past 5 years that knows who or what I'm talking about when I try to bring up that place in time, the music, or the culture.

I was growing up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and it was halcyon days for what we called the Cosmic Cowboy movement. Didn't want to get into disco, so I spent a lot of time listening to

Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Steve Fromholz, John Prine, David Allan Coe, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, Asleep at the Wheel, Michael Murphy, Emmy Lou Harris, etc.

Went to a great outdoor concert in Atoka OK - 35,000 hippie-like cowboys from Texas descending on one little bait shop near Lake Atoka. That was a good time.

You have made my day, and I loved your profile. I never know what to say on those things. Feel I don't want to disclose too much, just the bare bones. I love Dylan. He was where and how I started building my life the summer of my 12th year. Anyway, good to make your web aquaintence.
