It's definitely addictive, at least for awhile. Soon enough, it can turn into a chore.

I have almost 40 CDs burned (and I haven't worked on getting my old records onto CD). I'll give you credit for an eclectic mix. Keep that up for two dozen CDs, though.

A couple of songs bring to mind a couple of special women in my life. Nights In White Satin/ Moody Blues, my 1st real girlfriend and lover. That song was playing the 1st time we made love. Unchained Melody/ Rightous Brothers, played that over and over while I danced naked with the love of my life.

I attended a Paul McCartney Concert in '02, and when he played "All My Loving" there was a man about a decade older than me (I'm in my 40's) who was really choked up. I would imagine he was remembering someone special, too.

With the world the way it is these days, I have a feeling that a time will come, when just to hear any Beatles song will affect a lot of us that way. . .

I use iTunes and my iPod, but a playlist is a playlist and I have several.

I have four for walking/treadmill, each with about 15 songs on them.

I have one I call my "Get Through It" playlist with songs I play when I bring the headphones to the dentist, or the plane ride gets bumpy.

I have two Hawaiian music playlists for when I'm in Maui.

I have about four Oldies playlists.
