I was joking that I gain more musical knowledge
and lose more CDs with every relationship.
What song do you wish you could still play... but that scamp* ran off with it?
*(Is that unisex enough?)
Or what songs would you have never listened to if your Significant Other hadn't loved them first?
I entitled this playlist First Husband.
The songs remind me of our DINK days (dual income, no kids). I'd already heard Genesis on the radio and Peter Gabriel was a solo act before we married, but he had been following them for years and knew all the minutia about the solo careers. He loved ambient music, whereas I'd only heard Tubular Bells and some Tangerine Dream. He was a Deadhead... so I got to see Jerry a couple of times before he passed.
