There are some songs that, whenever I hear them, I am reminded of a specific memory. I recall hearing "Me and Mrs. Jones" driving down Magnolia Ave. in Larkspur, CA, when the song was popular - late sixties? - I can picture it. Sunny day, hardware store, pizza parlor, grocery store. There are tons of songs that bring up these vivid visual memories. Like when I was about 12, hearing "Let's Spend The Night Together", literally jumping up and down on the back seat of my friend's Dad's Chrysler Imperial convertible, our tongues hanging out like dogs, windblown hair, swimsuits still damp. I remember hanging with TBD founder David Markus at the family "camp" in the Adirondacks in our teens, playing "Stray Cat Blues" over and over and over. I also have very vivid memories of listening to the "Talking Book" album while hanging out at the local clubhouse. This is like - almost 40 years ago...!
