I never did a fair either. The paper cuts would have been fatal just from putting all the signs together.

Now theoretical work, that I could handle.

What is a science fair? I don't remember my kids having one.

If I remember correct it is usually a seventh or eighth grade project that a great amount of the grading for the semester goes on the usefulness and creativity of the project. When I think of my kids all I remember is the Styrofoam planets display or the paper mache' earthquake erupting. These kids on this list really came out with some humorous subject matter.

I never did one. don't remember them having science fairs when I was in school.

we were still doing things like boiling water in a large square can and then puting a lid on it and watching it collapse when it cooled. But my kids did them. Squeaky liked this one. My sons project was; how does diet effect mamales/ he got six white mice. He put two on a diet of water and gerbil food.

Two, he put on a diet of water and fruit loops, the breakfast cereal that he and his brother prefered for breakfast. The third pair he put on what he and his brother refered too as Dad's diet. Beer and Pretzels. The gerbil food pair gained weight. The the fruit loop pair died. The Dad's diet pair got real frazzled looking and red eyed. they were very erratic. but one week after changing to gerbil food they were just as healthy and not as heavy as the pair who had been on gerbil food all along. He got an "A" for all the notes he had recorded during the three week period. His teacher had a sense of humor.

In school, I am glad you don't remember on Robbie, because I thought it was due to my excessive class cutting the reason being why I didn't. But I am sure they had them. I remember one geek going on Academic Challenge online. If they had that I am sure they had Science Fairs.

Robbie, so what do you credit your longevity on the Dad's diet?
