studies funded by the industry are always suspect, especially when they conflict with earlier results by independent researchers. the article on the EFSA doesn't state the funding source. neither addresses the compound effects of exposure to multiple estrogen-like substances, although if it is true that this chemical is not stored in tissues then i suppose that is irrelevant. i remain skeptical because i know a similar report was issued a few years ago by the fishing industry debunking previous studies on mercury contamination, and actually (bogusly) claiming support from the american academy of pediatrics. however, i am presently more concerned with the level of iron fortification in infant formulas, based on very limited study, and the lack of feeding options new mothers are faced with. that's another discussion for another time, though.
