I just heard about a program called stellarium.
If you are an amateur astronomer this might be fun to have. You set your location and 'click' , the stars and planets move across the virtual sky. There are lots of extras too. I found the variable speed the most fun, I zoomed ahead into the future to see if the world would really end in 2012, it didn't, but I did see that in May of 2011 half of the planets will be clumped together and rising just before the sun.
you can certainly buy better programs, but this is free:
