Save money like a redneck by recycling that old spin washer and bathtub. Bathtub make great homes for ducks and dogs, only one at a time or there could be trouble. *grin* And that old spin washer where you put clothes in a tub to wash, then a spinner tub to spin out the water, it makes for great use of washing out floor mats and saddle blankets.

True story.

Oh and Pringle potato chip cans can be recycled as prothesis for an injured animal. (we used it as subsitute leg for "Suitcase" - the calf that my dad found freezing to death in the bush, when his mama gave birth to him too early, in the middle of winter and lost his leg to frostbite).

I've begun to get into one of them healthy new habits, by takin' a walk once a week. I choose to walk on trash day. I carry a notebook with me so I can jot down where some good stuff is gettin' thrown away, and I go back and get it with my pickup truck after nightfall. I bring it home, and lots of time that stuff still works.

I found lawn chairs, barbecue grills, armchairs for my front room so my front room ones can graduate to my porch, and my porch ones can graduate to the back porch, and my back porch living room set can go to my dog kennel. I've found cookware, books and magazines, clothing, bedding...and some pretty good storage boxes too. Sinks, toilets, stoves, flower arrangements. You can't be bashful.
