Hi Dow, keep at it. My theory is to run and run and run, then I can eat whatever, but that is not always easy....you should log your weight on the forum, then we can give you kudos when you do well!!!!

Welcome! I am also new to the group. So, I would be more than happy to be your new friend. I have been an English Equestrian for over 30 yrs, and I would tell you that setting goals really helps out. Be patient, and start out slowly.

Hi Dow! That is SUPER that you are exercising...keep up the good work! I'm going to agree with Traveller...running is one of the best ways to loose weight. And I think tone up too. You use so many muscles...stomache, arms, obviously your legs. What do you think Traveller? Do you find it helps with your muscle tone?

Hello Dow and welcome. I am new to the group also. My health approach is to eat healthy, do not eat late at night, and stay active with my kids (6 & 10). We are constantly moving.

I think that it is great that you have made a decision for a helathy life style and are seeing results form your work outs. Stay strong!
