Assuming everyone here has experienced an injury after age 35, do you notice how much longer it takes to recover?
I'm limping around on a bum knee because of racquet ball, and now can't even walk enough to be fit. Swimming doesn't do alot to help, so not only does it take TWICE as long to get well, it's TWICE as hard to get energy up to excercise. And even when my knee heals, I'll be challenged to get back into a routine.
Besides soaking in a hot tub (works well, and feels great!) what else could be done to keep aerobics going? Upper body workouts, and playing my instrument is something, but it doesn't replace using my legs.
All you runners out there must have some tricks... right?

Walking is still better'n nothing.
