Those of you who swim, want to swim, or wish they could swim - let's talk about swimming! Technique, pool or open water, training tips, distance, problems, etc.
Swimming is currently my favorite exercise. My mom taught me how to swim well at 23, after I got out of the Coast Guard - funny, huh? I've just rediscovered it and am now swimming 4 to 5 miles a week. I would like to step that up a little.
I mostly do freestyle, but would also like to learn butterfly.
Just learned some new technique (new for me) and have taken about 4 minutes off my mile.
Love doing flip turns, but take on a little water with them. That night my sinuses don't feel that great. Need to correct that.
