I'm female (obviously), but I joined this discussion board because I have 2 sons, and I find it a challenge trying to raise them to be "real" men when society seems to program them with all kinds of things which I believe conflict with that ideal (violence, selfishness, gluttony, irresponsibility, sexual promiscuity, etc).

I believe that I am married to a "real man." I'm lucky that I have a terrific husband who is responsible, hard-working, caring, compassionate and deeply devoted to me and our kids. . . So I do have some insight!

Not to mention, I really love "real men" ;)

So I'm wondering where everyone is out there??
